Unit 19 discusses teaching different groups of English learners. It is important when planning lessons to take into account the particular group you are working with and their specific language learning needs. I found the attached sheet for evaluating business learners language needs very helpful. I have always found the idea of teaching business English to be very intimidating because I am not very familiar with the field itself and its terminology. However, reading through the section on business English allowed me to see that I can use this ignorance to my advantage. I no longer fear being assigned to a position that would require me to teach a business level class.
