In unit 11, I learnt about the reasons for reading and listening and also the different specialist skills needed for reading and listening successfully. Such as predictive skills, specific information ? scanning, general idea ? skimming, detailed information and deduction from context.
Again, the important of choice topic from teacher. We know that the choice of topic is very important because it would be counter-productive to teach a topic that the students are not interested in or consider a boring one. If students are interested in the topic, they are more likely to be very participative and motivated to learn more in class.
