This unit discussed different methods of using technological and visual aides in order to enhance other aspects of the classroom. This unit especially stressed the importance of preparation in utilizing these tools for a lesson. Tools are just that, tools. They can't function without someone to control them and prepare them. If the teacher is unprepared to use them, then it will make the lesson more difficult and stressful for all involved, as opposed to easier. This unit also focused on how these aids can be used to better hold the attention of students, and how some (such as white or black boards) are practically necessary to run a class.
