This unit has taught me how to create good and fun lessons for speaking and writing. I was shown that because these are the productive skills and not the receptive skills, they will require that the students work harder as they will have to not only remember the words and grammatical structures, but they will also have to use their imaginations. This in turn will make the class more enjoyable for the students as it will be led by them and they will have the chance to express themselves. Given the opportunity to express themselves, the students will feel a stronger emotional bond to the teacher and other classmates.
