In my opinion, the most useful information that I retained from this unit was that of correcting student work. Typically, in the American education system, we focus on giving clear and immediate feedback to students as often as possible. However, this model provides that corrections are not always required immediately because it allows students to use a language freely and as they have experienced it in prior situations. I agree that this approach is effective because it can allow students to become less concerned about their struggles with learning a language, and allow them to continue practicing and experimenting a language. However, there is obviously a time and place in which immediate corrections need to be made in order to avoid having students continuously make errors.
