This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
In unit 17 I learned about teaching equipment/teaching aids. Aids are used to make lessons more interesting, to increase student engagement, and to become less dependent on the textbook. There is a great variety of tools and resources. The most important are: the board, interactive whiteboards, overhead projectors, visual aids, worksheets, work cards, cassette recorders, CD players, videos, DVDs, video cameras, dictionaries, course books, resource books, photocopiers, computers, and a vast amount of online resources. Each of these tools/aids needs proper preparation from the teacher, so they can be used in the classroom effectively.
