I have learned a lot from this lesson. I learned to first engage students by starting with an activity such as alphabet relay or sevens or memory depending on the class in order to get all students thinking about English, speaking it and being stimulated for the lesson. I learned to transition to either study or activate depending on the class and how successful activities and lessons in classes have been. It is important to get students speaking English they already know and incorporate new vocabulary and information into activities. Based on the level of the students activities can be increased or decreased in difficulty. All activities should contain a demonstration in order for students to understand the activity and then students should be left to conduct the activity themselves (unless the activity calls for the teacher to be involved). This process of teaching is to insure that students are involved and stimulated to learn and speak English.
