In this unit we learn the different ways of evaluating students levels and progress as well as some of the common external exams that the students take to prepare themselves. There are a number of ways to assess a students level: Tutorials, evaluation by students and tests.Tutorials can take place within a group or with individual students.These can be conducted at the end of the week. Students can also be asked to assess their course by means of a questionnaire or a guided discussion.Finally, students are assessed on the basis of various tests conducted at various levels. For example practice tests, placement tests, progress tests, diagnostic tests, general external examinations and Cambridge assessments.
