This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
There are four tenses of past tense: past simple, past continuous, past perfect, past perfect continuous. The same to the present tense, we need to use appropriate tense which is decided by different conditions. For example, if the action completed in the past, we need to use past simple tense. The other important factor is the form of verbs. For the regular verbs, we just need to keep the rule in our mind but for some irregular words, we need to use it often and to remember it separately. Another thing is to correct, at first, we should be aware of the mistakes, and then, let students know the differences among four tenses, then chose the right one depend on the condition they want to apply.
