This unit covers how to properly and effectively manage a classroom. This unit described seating arrangements, establishing rapport between students and the teacher, as well as how to effectively give out instructions. This unit was more of a lesson in how teachers can improve the overall dynamic of the classroom and turn it into a warm, inviting environment. A warm teaching environment helps the student become more self-confident, feels comfortable in the classroom with their peers and instructor, and lets the student feel safe when exploring a new language. This unit provided to be very helpful in giving ideas for how to do seating arrangements depending on the class situation and also how to properly give instructions depending on the same situation.
