This unit explained a test system throughout the world. It described in details the purposes of all existing tests in The US and Europe. I found out a lot about tests variety, structures and contents. There are Placement, Progress, Diagnostic, Practice tests that help to understand not only a certain level of English language, but also how efficient and helpful the learning process is, what is the most difficult topic for a class to pay special attention in the future in order to improve the knowledge of English. It was interesting to learn about European system of testing as well. I've passed TOEFL twice myself, I have my experience in this process. This test reveals how profound one knows English -- no doubt about it.
