During this unit I have learned that listening and reading are very similar in ways of how it is used in your lesson. For a student to read or listen to a dialogue for example, they need to understand the language so that they will feel confidant to carry on with the tasks. If the student can not understand what he/she is reading or listening to they will loose interest and will not want to participate in any of the activities and then they will not learn anything. So I have learned that it is important to make sure that your student stay interested by providing them the correct level of reading or listening material.
