This unit covers two examples of recorded lectures.
In the first lecture, the teacher's attitude and demeanor affected the class negatively. His scowling face and demeaning attitude had turned the students away from actively participate in the lesson.
In the second lecture, the teacher's bright and friendly attitude affected the class positively. He used examples to clarify the subjects before he engaged the students in a friendly manner. This not only lessen the fear and anxiety in the student but also encourages them to actively participate in the activity.
The video lessons from this unit showed me that a teacher's attitude can significantly impacts the class atmosphere as well as the student's willingness to participate in the activity. The positive atmosphere makes the students feel comfortable therefore making the learning experience enjoyable and productive.
