Unit 12 is dedicated to teaching productive skills. There are two types of productive skills: speaking and writing. Very often speaking is considered to be the most important skill, and writing is often undervalued. Both skills are equally important, and an experienced teacher is supposed to pay equal attention to developing both of the skills in the students. During the lessons dedicated to speaking both accuracy and fluency activities should be introduced at different stages of the class.
