The five main conditionals are reviewed this unit. Zero conditional, includes a definite conditional and a definite consequence. The first conditional, refers to a real situation in the future that can happen if the condition is satisfied. The second conditional, is used when speaking about a hypothetical situation that is not presently true. The third conditional, is bit more complex and can be used when referring to a past action and a consequence that could have happened. The mixed conditional is a combination of the second conditional and the third conditional and is used when speaking about a hypothetical past action and consequence. For non native English speakers this area of grammar can be quite difficult to grasp. There are some useful ways to present this material to make learning grammar fun.
