This unit offered some methodologies and techniques to English language teaching. It served to give us tools, ideas, and perspectives that we can utilize in teaching practice. In my previous studies, methodology was always described as an academic toolbox from which we can pull different strategies in our field. This seemed to hold true to me as I was reading the unit. None of these methods or techniques is 100% effective 100% of the time. Depending on the cultural and linguistic context in which we teach, as well as the individuals who make up our class, some tools are better than others in given situations. It is important to have a solid methodological foundation so we have a multitude of approaches we can take and adapt to our classes' specific needs. I think a teacher must be flexible and have many things at their disposable if they are to do the best possible job for the most possible students,
