1. Unit 7 overview
Unit 7 deals with the concept how to teach new language regarding vocabulary, grammatical structures, and language functions. The criteria to consider when selecting vocabulary for a lesson is mentioned. Techniques for vocabulary teaching with examples of ESA lessons are given. Guidelines when introducing grammatical structures and teaching language functions are also briefly described and examples of typical ESA lessons given.
2. What I learnt
I appreciate and value the examples of practical ESA lessons in the unit and the application of the given information in the task sheet. To receive information on a given subject is a necessary part of education, to apply this information however can be quite challenging. Therefore I appreciate practical examples how to apply the knowledge in real life situations.
