This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
In this unit, I learned about two productive skills; the speaking and and writing skills. Accuracy activities are more on producing right language and fluency activities focuses on creativity with the language. I also learned what activities fall under speaking. They are the controlled activities, guided activities and creative communication. It is important for a tacher to uplift students' interest in studying by encouraging them. Students are shy and hesitant to participate in classroom activities in some reasons so the teacher should give encouagement. Activities that involve pairing and grouping will be very effective to create interaction among the students. For writing, penmanship, spelling and punctuation are to be considered.
