As a trained teacher with a strong foundation of behavior management, I did not find this unit particularly useful. A lot is required for successful classroom management but I believe the strongest component is rapport/relationship with students. If the students know that I am invested in them as humans they will respond to the class accordingly and put in greater effort. I find that circulating around the classroom during INM and having a presentation on PPT is a good strategy as well.Parts speech os a complex and demanding topic that is difficult to explain to students. It is easier to help children make extended sentences but helping them understand the purpose of each word in a sentence can be hard to achieve.Being able to know the hows and whys is important because missing one part of speech or using it wrongly distorts the meaning of the sentences. The video helps with the explanations of how to deliver the lessons to students which I do pero=sonally appreciate.
