In this unit, I read about the various parts of speech in detail. I had no idea what a Gerund was and as such, I highlight that as the most interesting part of the unit. I can now share with my students that a Gerund is a verb with an \"ing\" ending that always takes an object after it in a sentence. Another good thing about this unit is that it gives quite a few examples of the part of speech being discussed. I believe that this unit is key to being a successful EFL/ESL teacher as it gives foundational knowledge of the English language.This unit was very interesting and clear. It is known to a vast majority of people that in order to minimise errors, mistakes and struggles it is most helpful to know the cause and primary source of the problem. This helps teachers stay alert and aware of the possibilities that could cause distractions and troubles within the classroom, therefore preventing it from occurring as much as possible. So I think this unit was great in terms of providing information about problematic situations; how to avoid them and what to do when they occur.
