I went back and reviewed the present tenses so that I could have a better grasp of the future ones. With a clearer understanding of the present, it is easier to understand the past (perhaps a good metaphor for life!) It takes a conscious effort to differentiate the verb tenses, and as a native speaker I often use them unconsciously. The teaching tips and activate lesson suggestions are really helpful. I'm sure they will make classes more interesting and dynamic.I really enjoyed this lesson and found it very helpful because it clearly presented an example of a good teacher with a great lesson plan and a poor teacher with an unorganized lesson plan. The difference in the receptiveness of the students in each lesson was dramatic. In the first lesson only a couple of students had the opportunity to speak a few words in English, but in the second lesson everyone was successfully engaged and enthusiastic about participating.
