The productive skills which are speaking and writing; can show that there can be a difference between the accuracy and fluency. Many activities can be done throughout the lesson for both speaking and writing activities. Teacher should be aware that they should prepare for their lessons to adjust the level for the students in order for them to be motivated and to get more interest to learn the language. Give them reasonable time to think will help students to be more confidence within themselves and to help out if necessary during the ESA.This unit covered different teaching styles and how each style can be used in the classroom setting. I learned that the most effective and logical teaching style taught through this unit was Engage-Study-Activate. (ESA) It was interesting to read that while correcting students is an option, it's better to let the student think about where they made a error or prompt other students to help find what the error was. There were also a lot of examples of different activities to use within the classroom; which I hope to reference in the future.
