Teaching children to me is one of the more fulfilling roles as a teacher as you help to guide them to a better future. With each group of students whether children or adults one must set his or her class based on that specific group. For example when teaching younger children a teacher should make the class more enjoyable as to keep the kids more occupied and focused. While teaching adults with a more business oriented focus often times they are tired from work and cannot be expected to cover as much as a person who is a full time student.Again I think the biggest thing I took away from this unit was in the example lesson plans, and how to put all of these theoretical teaching philosophies into practice. Using these not as a hard and fast rule for how a lesson needs to be, but instead as a multi-faceted guide, from which parts can be taken away or re-purposed to suit the needs of my lesson and my class. In addition, the how we read and listen section was insightful to better understand how a person (myself included) might be interpreting the information presented to them.
