hello again, this unit was crazy!, i do understand the meaning of it, but isn't the phonology of words natural in the way we use emotions when expressing what we say? it was hard when doing the last few questions as i couldnt download the chart from the internet, as i dont have a program to extract the zip file. i could see what some of the phonetic script was but some not at all. my summery for the bulk of the unit is just that its good to be aware of the pronunciation issues that students will most likely come across.This unit gives good examples and strategies for lesson planning. Overall, a good teacher should have a plan for each lesson but should be willing to divert from that plan if the need arises. Lesson plans allow the teacher to keep a record of what has been taught as well as maintain a structure to each lesson and anticipate problem areas that students may need to review. The lesson plan also offers an opportunity for teachers to review their own teaching, see what went well and what could be improved for future lessons.
