In this lesson reading and listening is important,in reading we must read carefully all the instructions before doing things specially in examination.In listening also,listen properly because if we don't listen we can encounter wrong information or we cannot follow the topics or lesson.scanning skills is a text quickly in order to find specific information and quickly get general information.skimming and scanning are two specific speed-reading techniques,which enable you to cover a vast amount of material very rapidly.Unit 12 discussed productive skills, which pertains to speaking and writing. In addition, the differences between accuracy and fluency were discussed (both equally important), the different types of speaking and writing activities, why students can be discouraged to participate in activities, and why it is important to maintain classroom interest. Moreover, the unit explained how some countries have different or no punctuation in their native language, which could prove to be problematic when teaching English to them.
