Unit 6 covered past tenses. It provided examples of the past simple such as I cooked, I played, I gave. It also gave examples of the past continuous, the past perfect, and the past perfect continuous. What I found helpful in this unit besides the refresher were the common mistakes by students and teaching ideas. Story telling, the detective game, and telling stories were a few that stood out to me and that I will incorporate into lesson plans.This unit was about conditionals and reported speech. I found this material to be difficult to understand even though it's my first language. I appreciate the video and how it reinforces the written material to help me understand it and put it into practice more. I can certainly understand that this would be a very difficult unit to learn as a second language learner and can see the importance of the study and activate sessions in this lesson.
