Getting preparedto each lesson - it is always a choice of the structure according to the material to be taught. Unit 7 gives ideas and approaches for teaching three different and main parts of any language:vocabulary, grammar and structuring. There are common ESA structures and advices for their implementation. It is also mentioned that teacher can apply his/her own ESA structure according to the target of the lesson, level of language and personalities of students.
As usual Unit gives good ideas for activities to be used during the class.The course books are really helpful, but we need to have a balance using it. The teacher needs to be able to adapt the content with more specific subjects according to the students group, also be able to add more content if needed, omit some parts if they are not relevant, replace when needed... Basically, we adapt our course book to our group, and have a \"adapted/personalized course book\" for each group of students. This way, our lessons and class feels more personalized and we tackle the needs of our group in a much more effective way.
