In most English classes, smaller classes are easier to handle for a teacher than large classes,most learners find it easier to explain a point to their classmates in their native language.however the teacher should try to discourage it since if the learners are used to it they may keep disrupting the English lesson.Playing games helps in establishing rapport between learners and their teachers.If possible the teacher should avoid the course book during the first lesson.These videos have been very instructive.The teacher's vivid and vibrant manner in the second video serves as a good example of what a good lesson is. It definitely takes a lot of energy and effort to produce a lesson like that.I wonder if it makes any difference if a teacher writes the necessary vocabulary on the blackboard or produces it on some handouts.I don't know which way is more rational and workable taking into account that the latter economizes the lesson time.
