This unit covered the five main conditionals of speech as well as reported speech and direct speech. I learned from this unit the sentence structures associated with all five of the main conditonals. It also informed me of how the tenses change when you are using direct speech to reported speech. In addition to being taught how to properly teach the conditionals, this unit informed me of different exercises I can us to help the students gain a better understanding of grammar.Future Tenses are probably the most complex to learn. There are seven future tenses: Future simple; Future continuous; Future perfect; Future perfect continuous; Be going + Infinitive; Present simple; and Present continuous. Each of these is slightly different and include form for the use of present tenses to indicate the future.
Again, students with native languages that have fewer tenses will especially need help in learning how to choose and use the proper future tense.
