In unit 20, it refreshes your mind on different ways to keep a students attention. Skills to keep a students motivation and helping them stay alert. It also retouches up on how to get students comfortable in the classroom so they are not shy and do not want to speak up. Strong and weak students paired together work very well. Not only does the strong student help out the weaker student, but there is better communication between the two to help better understand.Although brief, this lesson was something I was wondering after the last. Regarding young learners, I was wondering how a teacher can gain more knowledge about the students in ways other than a needs analysis. I assumed if possible it could only be through designed activities. I wondered if it would be impractical to ask the parents fill out info sheets of student interests, though an in class activity feels much more appropriate as it also increases rapport.
