This was an interesting lesson because teaching different kind of groups requires analysis, effort and good planning. When a teacher knows the needs and interests of different groups of people such as: children, teenagers and adults, the approach and adaptability required will definitely change. It is so important to be aware of the factors that motivate students in different ages and even more important, try different methods and techniques to keep the interest.This unit covered methods of teaching, with strengths and weaknesses for each. This course recommends the ESA (Engage, Study, Activate) method. Engage means to get the learners interested in the lesson. Study is the presenting and clarification of the new material. Activate is when the learners use old and new knowledge in a variety of ways. The lesson gives useful examples and suggestions to make each stage of ESA practical in practice and optimize their impact.
