This study unit deals with teaching new language vocabulary, grammar and functions. There are four criteria for student to learn a new languages. They need to be exposed to the language, they have to put meaning to what is learned, they have to understand how it is constructed and as a result need to be able to practice and produce it. I have learned that there is no set structure to follow, an effective teacher will use the appropriate structure for the class he/she thinks is suitable.The portion of this Unit is that in order for the students to understand what exactly they are learning is by getting involvedand to practice the language by getting involved. Best way is by roll playing and allowing them to speak the language to the best of their ability. After going thru the roll playing , make corrections, in a one on one basis to each student, Brief them and allow them to be aware how they performed. Try to be positive advise, so the students do not get discouraged.
