I really benefited from watching these two examples. I found that I inherently use the more effective methods, but could use better pacing, more defined phases, and more ideas on different activities for the activate phase. I could also use extra grammar lesson outlines in order to fully prepare myself for each lesson and how to approach it. It excited me to see the second lesson because I LOVE engaging the student on a personal level, and can't wait to incorporate it in a larger class setting. One thing I don't do very well is to time things and sequence them. I often get distracted during a session, or simply don't know how it should be approached in a logical sequence. It will help me to view these kinds of lessons more often, especially on the more complex grammar structures so as to prepare for any situation.
