This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
In this unit I learned some critical things especially regarding the modes of a teacher at different times depending on what the set up of an activity with students is and ultimately how it is orchestrated by the teacher. It also covered imperative qualities of a good teacher that I absolutely agree with, and then obviously the same characteristics of a good student/learner. The different levels of ability for students/leaners and how those levels can be different or even inconsistent depending on where you are and what the level of expectancy is in that particular environment. I particularly liked the questions 15 - 19 that consisted of funny anecdotes pertaining to why students lose respect for their teacher or become bored and unmotivated. Too funny. The ultimate \"Cardinal Sin\" is to offend people's cultures.
