This unit covered a range of methodology on teaching students stating its aims and drawbacks. The unit also provided an in depth analysis of ESA, providing examples of activities for each stage within a lesson. Correction techniques were also outlined on when should a correction be made.
From this unit, I have learnt a range of different methodology that I can bring into a classroom depending on the students learning styles. I have also learnt a range of activities that I can bring into a classroom when using ESA so repetition doesn't occur. As ESA is good for beginner teachers, it was very useful to have a structure on how lessons can be planned around. The error correction unit taught me that constant correction is not always good and I will take into considerations of other factors when approached this problem.
