Unit 4 focuses on the Present tenses. We can distinguish 4 forms of Present tenses. The teacher must analyse and recognize every tenses and be able to make them understandable for the students. It is important to focus on how to use each forms and under what circumstances. Through games, dialogue and stories, we should bring the student to use the right tense. Using a time scale, ( draw it on the board ), the student can pick the right tense according to the drawing and story/ action/ habits he wants to express. The activate stage would be very important in that case and easy to involve every students ; there is a wide range of activities to get the student talking about his day, his habits, etc,. A self-presentation of the student and of the teacher is very useful to complete the lesson using the 4 Present tenses.
