This unit is about teaching productive skills. We learned that listening and reading are responsive in the last lesson. In this lesson we learn that speaking and writing are also important for communication and known as productive skills. We learn about accuracy and fluency activities and their purposes in speaking lessons. Accuracy activity lessons deal with producing correct language and are usually seen in the study part of lessons, and fluency activities deal with being creative with language and is usually seen in the activate part of the lesson. We also see an ESA writing lesson. We learn about how in writing, vocabulary,spelling, handwriting, layout and punctuation are important. In the ESA lesson we see how students can learn appropriate language by completing speech bubbles and making up their own stories.
