Common problem situations faced in a classroom gave an insight into most common problems and not exhaustive by any means, it did show to me that the teacher and the teacher's interaction and stimulation in the class room environment can overcome a lot of common problem situations, as majority of students attend classes as a foreign language for a majority of reasons and a teacher needs to establish a level of rapport and trust in order for students to be proactive in the classroom, this I have found from being a student in a foreign language class in the pastThis unit covers another grammatical aspect being modals and their basic rules, the difference between passive and active voice and the different types of phrasal verbs. All in all, this unit provides me with clear examples of the usages of modals as well as the present and future tense which will serve as an important function when outlining the differences with students. Besides this, It provides me with ideas of the best teaching methods wish as role-play, rules and signs which in my opinion helps me to define these grammatical rules with a better concept.
