Past tenses have certain similarities with present tenses in terms of usage and form, but they distinctly indicate past times. Past simple is used for actions completed at a definite time in the past. Past continuous indicates an action in progress at a past time and it almost always requires some time reference. Past perfect is used for for actions that occurred before other actions in the past. Past perfect continuous states longer actions or situations in the past that continued up to the past moment we're thinking about.The two videos shows the same teacher presenting the same lesson subject to the same English language students.Throught the lesson,I noticed that a significant difference in the atmosphere in the classroom,as well as a differece in the level of understanding amongst the class participants.The teacher's attitude and teaching style that affect the progress of the lesson,as well as how the lesson structure and content affect the student's understanding.As a teacher,I should be positive,and prepare each lesson as best as I can.
