This was a good foundational unit for this course. I've been in education the pat 10 years with the first 7 as a teacher. I like the emphasis on the teacher-student relationship mentioned in the beginning of the unit. It's important to train your teachers to see the intricacy's involved with teaching and I think you did a nice job laying that information out.
However, I did find the assessment lacking. I think the test assessment is a bit unclear and the questions asked don't always relate with the content you've covered. I don't think the assessment clearly evaluates what you'd like your teachers to gain from the unit.....regurgitating information isn't always the best way to assess, especially when the questions asked are posed in a way that isn't clear. I hope the assessment further along the course get better!
