This unit provides a short overview of the techniques of teaching different points of language (vocabulary, grammatical structures, different language functions, as well as the things to be taken into consideration (by the teacher) when teaching those particular points and the things the students are supposed to know after the teaching takes place. Again, the most interesting and useful part of the unit was the techniques used for each of the ESA (engage, study, activate) phases of the lesson, for different things to be taught (vocabulary, grammar, language functions). It was also useful to revisit the straight arrow, boomerang and patchwork type lessons, now used in a particular context. It served a double purpose - to revisit the previously learnt material and to visualise the current theme in a classroom setting.
