In unit fourteen I learnt more about teaching materials:course books. Some teachers strictly following a course book, some teachers do not think that it is a good idea. I agree with the second group of teachers. Normally course consists of several supplements as course book, workbook, cd and teacher’s book. Course by itself is a good guide for a teacher, especially for inexperienced one. But strictly following the course book is not really good thing to do. Teacher should add something extra, sometimes when a teacher feels that students should focus more on the theme (maybe students finished all tasks in course book and still make mistakes) thus teacher should provide something extra. Extra material also can be bright and entertaining. Good lesson is a good balance between using course book and extra activities.
