This unit was really exciting, we had the ability to learn about all the different sorts of resources that a teacher may use in the classroom. This unit allowed me to be creative in my thoughts and brainstorm and recall what were effective lessons and uses of teaching equipment that I had witnessed. There was written /visual learning tools such as white boards/chalk boards, interactive white boards, and overhead projectors, as well as worksheets or journaling. These help with written fluency and comprehension. There were audio tools such as video cameras, dvds, casette players, which would help children hear pronunciation, and accents. There were other tools and resources which the teacher could use including, authentic texts, and books, online resources, and computer games and software to have a technological touch.
