This unit explains important aspects of Lesson planning. We start by looking at the functions, it is very important to have a lesson plan as a teacher because of different reasons. A lesson plan acts as a teacher's guide during a lesson. It is also important for record keeping, knowing what topic was taught, the class that was taught e.t.c.
A lesson plan should be made in such a way that it is simple and precise. It should maintain the same structure that a teacher always uses such that during a lesson, the teacher can easily refer to it. A good lesson plan should highlight the target for a particular lesson. In other words what does the teacher intend to achieve through the lesson. This unit also covers the Present perfect simple tense which is used to refer to actions that happened in the past at an indefinite time.
