The English language instructor needs to develope a rapport with the class and also assess needs and requirements in order to provide relevant vocabulary and grammar at a level of understanding the students can successfully absorb. Warm up activities should be used in the engage section of the class to begin the class and to turn the students attention to the English language. The students should be encouraged to use only English in the classroom. The instructor should not respond to any questions or conversation in the students native language. When using auditory material, the instructor should consider any problems that may arise relating to listening skills and should ensure the audio material is intelligible and at a volume that all can hear. Again, boredom and lack of interest by the students should be considered.
