This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit breaks down the parts of speech that are a necessary part of learning English. The terms 'verb,' adjective,' and 'noun' have been familiar terms since I was young, there were other parts I hadn't applied terms to. For example, you can break down 'verb' into 'transitive verbs' and 'intransitive verbs.' A transitive verb that is followed by an object, such as 'make' or 'eat.' An intransitive verb cannot be followed by an object, such as \"go\" or \"speak.\" I also learned that a preposition shows the relationship between a noun or pronoun and another word in the sentence. For example, \"at\" is the preposition in \"I sat at the table\" by showing the relationship between \"sat\" and \"the table.\" This unit allowed me to break down English as a language and begin to understand the concept of the grammatical system.
