This unit provided a wide variety of ways possible to speak or write about actions that will happen in the future. As with the present and past, it reviewed the four common uses of the future tense: simple future, future continuous, future perfect, and future perfect continuous. It also included additional concepts, such as the use of be going plus infinitive, and the use of the simple present in simple present continuous to discuss actions that will take place in the future. The inclusion of the additional concepts made this unit more of a challenge to review and comprehend. The unit test questions required more thought than previous tests, as there were more options from which to choose. The unit includes a good number of lesson ideas that can be used to teach these concepts but does not provide a full-scale lesson plan.
