The unit taught me about the importance of the first lesson for a teacher which do dictates the tones of the rest of the classes.
It is advisable because it is the teacher’s first time of meeting the students and most likely the first time the students also meeting with each other, that the teacher don’t immediately starts his first class with the textbook rather get to talk on a topic that will help build a rapport between the teacher and student and also between the students in a situation where it’s the first time they meeting one another.
The use of different materials in teaching is advised due to the different levels of the students and on other occasion, same material but different assignments. This is advise will not make any feel left out and in the process they are improving in their English lesson
