- in introducing grammatical structures aspect, a student needs to know what the language means, how it is used, what the grammatical form is.The techniques for presenting and practising language structures were established. A helpful example of typical ESA grammar lesson was presented.
- teaching language functions include areas such as inviting, refusing, agreeing/disagreeing, suggesting, appropriacy, etc. These kind of lessons stress the need for activation of language and most effectively used with the boomerang and patchwork type of ESA lessons.
