In this class we learned the two basic actors involved in a class: the teachers and the students. We learn the characteristics that make a teacher a good one and the different ways in which we can classify the students. This aspect in particular was really important for me because I learned all the different factors to take into account when getting to know our students. This will help us to choose the right tools and strategies when teaching, in order for the learning to be meaningful and effective for them.
Also, I knew very little about all the different roles a teacher could have. For this, the video lesson was a huge help to clarify some doubts because, in this regard, the reading was a little bit confusing. For example, I couldn't distinguish the organizer role from the facilitator one or the tutor from the assesor.
